Claire + Jack | Portland Oregon Analog Wedding

Claire and Jack are both artists, so I knew their wedding was going to be extra beautiful.

My first conversation with Claire was almost entirely about the art of photography before we even spoke about their wedding. She’s also an art school grad with a degree in film photography so naturally, we geeked out about analog, darkrooms, and how much we both love Blue Moon Camera in Portland. She told me she wanted to make cyanotypes for during the ceremony, and that she had to have film photography at her wedding. I was thrilled.

On their wedding day, we spent the morning getting ready, sharing jokes and mimosas. The ceremony was held at Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden and everything was in bloom, so we had endless opportunities for photo spots. After the ceremony, we headed downtown to the reception at Urban Studio where we promptly got the party started with dinner, speeches, and dancing. It was such a fun-filled, emotional, joyful day and I can’t wait to have another opportunity to work with Claire + Jack.
