Natalie + Aaron | Madras Oregon Backyard Wedding

Natalie + Aaron got married on a May afternoon at the family farm in Madras Oregon.

My first conversation with Natalie was immediately comfortable. She was calm, sweet, and kind, and explained that for their wedding day, they just wanted to keep it simple.

They were getting hitched at Aaron’s parents’ house in Madras, Oregon — a beautiful farm property with views for miles in every direction. She told me they didn’t want anything overly flashy, just a spring celebration with their close family and best friends. And that’s exactly how it went.

It was a breezy Central Oregon afternoon when Natalie + Aaron said their vows in front of their favorite people.

Afterward, we snapped some photos together, grabbed some drinks, and sat down for a meal. We listened to some toasts from the best man and maid of honor. As the sun set, the clouds brought a little rain and the most phenomenal rainbow and sunset I’ve ever seen.

For Natalie + Aaron, I was able to shoot a couple of rolls of 35mm film photography, along with a few Polaroids and a little bit of my newest offering: Super8 video!
