Cecily + Gio | Central Oregon Couple's Session

Cecily and Gio are my own personal house plant/garden/fashion inspirations. I’ve known Gio for what feels like forever, and after following them on social media for a while, I’ve become totally smitten with their collection of plants, vintage-thrift style, and overall love for each other. When my friend and fellow photographer Kassandra started dreaming up this lil’ creative shoot, I knew they would be the perfect models.

Originally, when Kassandra and I discussed doing this photoshoot together, we had a much different vision in mind. After scaling it back, shifting plans, and then shifting them again, the date came and there wasn’t much decided aside from the location and our two kick-ass models. We all headed out to the desert and just let the vibes run the day.

It was perfect.

It was so refreshing to drop the expectations a little bit and mix it up, and naturally, Cecily and Gio picked out the perfect outfits for an easy, natural, desert photoshoot. We drank beers, lit some joints, ran around in the dirt, and jammed out to some good tunes.

If you’re a photographer and you need something to freshen up your creativity, I highly recommend finding two cuties who are super in love and letting them run wild in the desert.
