Red Rock Canyon Las Vegas Elopement | Ali + Sam
Ali + Sam decided to ditch tradition and elope in one of their favorite places: The Famous Red Rock Canyon.
Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is a sweeping landscape about 30 minutes outside of Las Vegas. It’s a world-renowned rock climbing destination, which is one of the many reasons why Ali and Sam chose to make it the backdrop for their elopement day.
We met up in the overlook parking area, where Ali used my van to change into her wedding attire. Then we skipped up the pathway so the two of them could have a private first look, where they chose to exchange vows. We raced the sun as we headed back towards the overlook area where their immediate family all gathered for a short ceremony.
After the “I Do’s” and the big kiss, we gathered to snap some quick family photos, popped a bottle of champagne, dove into that cake, and then got ready to head back into the city for dinner. It was a short, sweet, perfect elopement, and proof that your nuptials don’t need to be overly extravagant to be meaningful.
