Andrea + Joey | Glam Churchill Downs Wedding

In October I had the opportunity to fly out to Louisville, Kentucky to shoot one of the coolest weddings I’ve ever shot, alongside my bestie Chloe and it was an experience I’ll never forget.

When Chloe asked me to assist her with Andrea + Joey’s wedding, I booked my flights right then n’ there. A + J were the most welcoming couple and they had the most welcoming family. Everyone was so kind, radiating southern charm.

I had never been to Louisville (or Kentucky) before so to have such an exclusive insider experience at the historic Churchill Downs was something else. I got to see the whole space, from where people place bets, to the horse paddock, to the dirt track itself. The reception space was on the rooftop with sunset views of downtown Louisville to finish off the evening.

It was magical. I’m so thankful for my industry homies that trust me and my work enough to fly me out to new and exciting places.
