Claire + Jack | North Portland Fall Engagement Session

Not to be dramatic or anything but I think Claire might be my soul mate. From the moment she emailed me, I knew we were kindred spirits. She went to art school to study photography too, so we spent the first hour of our initial phone call just talkin’ shop before we even started to dive into their wedding plans. I basically screamed when she mentioned potentially creating cyanotypes AT THEIR WEDDING (If you know, you know). Jack is also an artist; he’s a tailor and a chef, so having the chance to frolic around last fall with these two felt like a burst of creative energy. We wandered a park in North Portland, popped champagne, read a few excerpts from their favorite books, laughed, danced and had a damn good time. We were graced with all sorts of weather from rain to sunshine, and the evening ended with the most gorgeous Portland sunset. I’m thrilled to be a part of their wedding this summer. It’s going to be absolute magic.
