Cortnie + Amaris | Perfect Portland Engagement Session

Engagement Sessions can be whatever you want them to be.

When I got the inquiry from Amaris about their destination wedding in Puerto Rico I thought for sure it was spam. Too good to be a true. A fairytale. Turns out it wasn’t spam, but it still feels like a fairy tale. Cortnie and Amaris live in New York, and they found me via social media (and maybe a little divine intervention if you believe in that kinda thing). We had a few phone calls and FaceTime chats, lots of texts and emails, and soon it felt like we had all known each other for our whole lives.

Not long after that, they were planning a trip to Portland for their engagement session! Since it was their first time in Portland we decided on the most perfect locations for their shoot; Powell’s Books and Forest Park with a little coffee stop in between. It was so much fun showing them around some of my favorite places in PDX and we were blessed with beautiful sunny weather. I can’t wait to capture their beautiful wedding in July.
