Dani + Alex | Spontaneous Smith Rock Elopement

Dani + Alex are one of many couples this year that decided to basically say “f*ck it” and elope on a random weekday with a few of their favorite people and you all know thats my jam. So when they reached out to me, I was happy to help them choose a location, plan the little details, and recommend some vendors (like my girl Brittany at Hey You Flowers). But it wouldn’t be a 2020 wedding if there wasn’t a curve ball.

Dani and Alex got married on a Tuesday in October and the original plan was to drive into the mountains to have their ceremony at one of my favorite lakes. As their wedding week approached, the weather was promising rain and clouds, so we decided to pivot. We made a quick phone call and lucky for us, the little amphitheater at Smith Rock was available for last minute reservation. It was windy and cold but these two braved the weather happily, and said their vows in front of their closest family. It was beautiful, joyous and simple.
