Ferris + Liz | Portland Rose Garden Engagement

Ferris + Liz are both from Seattle but they wanted to turn their engagement session into a little bit of a vacation, so they came to see Portland.

And what better place to tour than the International Rose Test Garden in Washington Park?

It was a beautiful summer evening in June and we had a blast walking around and chatting. Ferris and Liz are both ultimate frisbee players, so when we planned their engagement session I encouraged them to bring a frisbee along for a few photos too!

In my opinion, it’s always a good idea to make your engagement photos your own by bringing something unique to your relationship along.

If you’re looking for an easily accessible, beautiful place for engagement photos in Portland, Oregon, the Rose Garden is a perfect option.

But really, any other part of Washington Park works well for that matter! It’s close to the city but beautifully forested, and if you’re looking specifically for the roses, aim to visit in late May or early June to get the full blooms.
