Kayla + Stephen | All-Film Couples Session

I’ve been talking a lot about my passion for analog photography and shooting film for my couples, but I don’t just talk about film, I actually shoot it too.

Kayla is one of my dear friends (and a fellow photographer!) who recently commissioned me for an all-film couples session with her and her partner. All-film means I didn’t even BRING my digital camera! Ooooof.

We headed out to Dillon Falls in Bend, OR for golden hour and it turned out to be a perfect warm summer night.

We wandered through the trees, laughing and talking about life, and when the sun went down a little we headed out by the water to grab the photos at last light. I used an old roll of black and white film towards the end of the evening and got approximately 4 good photos from it, but just the act of using it and seeing the grainy results was so worth it.
