Janika + Max | Oregon Coast Engagement Session

Max + Janika are two of the kindest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. When we first got to talking, I learned they live in different time zones more often than not. Max works on the East Coast, and Janika here in Oregon, so scheduling our phone initial calls was tough! But we made it happen, and I’m so glad. Having a long distance relationship is hard enough as it is, I can’t imagine planning a whole wedding that way. Yet what a beautiful sentiment, to be able to withstand so much before even officially tying the knot. That’s true love.

Janika and Max hit it off discussing literature, so when we finally were able to schedule their engagement session, they brought a couple of their favorite books. We started out shooting in a sweet little book shop in Canon Beach, and after that we strolled the coast and they told me more about their meeting and falling in love, and it was the most perfect afternoon. I can’t wait to see them say I Do this summer.
