JT + Carissa | Gloomy Oregon Coast Engagement

JT and Carissa celebrated four years together the day before we went out to shoot their engagement photos, so the day felt even more special as we all drove out to the coast on Saturday. I was really looking forward to this shoot for a number of reasons, one being that we planned to go shoot at a location I had never been to. We drove two and half hours out of Portland to get to our first destination and it was totally worth it. We had the cove all to ourselves, and even though it sprinkled a bit, we made the most of our adventure. After the first location, we headed out to a more open beach spot to try and catch a sunset. The weather had turned gloomy, but even though we missed our epic sunset, these two made the best out of a freezing beach shoot. It was windy and ice cold and Carissa still rocked that breezy pink dress like it ain’t no thang. We finished up the day with dinner and beers at Fort George Brewing in Astoria and we talked about the endless wedding planning possibilities. Overall a highly successful day in my book. Thank you, JT and Carissa, for letting me be such an important part of your big day!
