Ryann + Christian | 70's Themed Film Wedding

Ryann + Christian love all things retro. 

I remember our initial consult being so light hearted and fun. We connected immediately and spent a lot of time chatting about film photography, traveling, and all things in between. When it came down to real wedding talk, Ryann had a vision and she knew exactly what she wanted her wedding to be like - a damn good time. And it was.

On May 13th, 2023, I walked into Ryann’s hotel suit to an Abba playlist and the sounds of girlies getting ready. It was all bright, joyful energy. I bopped around getting details photos, chatting with all the gals and hearing stories about Ryann and Christian. After getting some shots of everyone on both film + digital, we went downstairs for an intimate first look and vow moment for Ryann + Christian.

The two of them took their time with hellos after being apart all morning, basking in how great each other looked, relishing in the wedding day feels. Vows were read, tears were shed, and then we were off to the party.

At beautiful Eco Trust building in downtown Portland, the incredible Morgan Harris and her wedding planning team were setting up all the fun, funky details. It was an absolutely gorgeous sunny spring day, and we were all wearing giant silly smiles as we ran around getting all the photos we needed. And after the ceremony, the party ensued. I snapped away all night, ending up with hundreds of film + digital photos (polaroids included).

I could talk for days about how much I loved this wedding, adore this couple, and admire all the amazing vendors involved, but I’ll cut to the chase. It was a damn perfect day.
