We’ve come a long way since “eloping” meant just running down to the courthouse and signing some documents. Eloping has transformed and can be anything you want it to be! Elopements are a great way to keep the pressures of your wedding day low and relaxing. If you’re looking for more of an experience for your elopement day, it can be a great opportunity to travel or adventure with your love.

An elopement can be just the two of you, or it can be you and your 4 best friends. You can elope at a cabin in the woods, at the coast, or you can elope on top of a mountain! The possibilities are truly endless. In fact, the first elopement I ever photographed was in Shevlin Park in Bend, Oregon back in 2015. It was simple and sweet, and they had their parents and best friends along for the day.

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of photographing countless beautiful elopements in some of the coolest locations. I photographed a destination elopement in Puerto Rico. I captured my friends saying their vows below the Grand Tetons. I’ve even photographed an elopement at a fire tower! Needless to say, it’s been a wild ride.

Elopements can be anything you want them to be and they’re the perfect opportunity to make your nuptials intimate and uniquely you.
